What is HAARP Technology?    HAARP, which stands for High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, is a scientific program that was established to study the ionosphere, a region of the Earth's upper atmosphere. The HAARP program was based in Gakona, Alaska and was funded by the US Air Force, US Navy, and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).  The HAARP facility consisted of a large array of radio frequency transmitters and antennas that were used to generate high-frequency radio waves that were then directed into the ionosphere.
